The Official #11 Vandy @ #15 Tennessee Series Thread (Fri. 5/9 5:30PM EDT SEC Network) (Sat. 5/10 5PM EDT ESPN2) (Sun. 5/11 3PM EDT ESPN2)

I get your point, I don’t entirely disagree. I just think that the crowd edge is missing. Heck, we used to go to games when I was in school at UT and we would be down a ton and it would still be a hostile environment for the visiting team. It’s baseball, you never know what’s going to happen.
Have you seen where the students STAND now? Nowhere to even set a drink. They lost their section to player families. So don't blame the students. And yes I have one there.

Would have never guessed MS and OM.
OM generated $10 million in revenue for baseball last year. Of course, having a 12,000 seat stadium helps haha; State only generated $5.8 million despite having an even bigger stadium than OM, so I actually have a hard time seeing how they made money last year in baseball.

Radio interview with Tony:

We could have made a difference on defense and kept it much closer.
We didn't pinch hit as well as we needed to.
Ensley plays the game the right way, and younger players need to take note of that.
We had two spots in the lineup that we didn't get anything out of.
McElvain looked like a major leaguer out there tonight.
AJ threw the ball as well as he has since coming back.
Probably start Teagan tomorrow.
AJ's work allowed us to have a few fresher arms for tomorrow.

...and this forecast has not changed through today. Scattered thunderstorms (50%) around 5pm and 6pm.

You can’t give up 10 runs and win very many league games , I know we’ve done it some in the past but this team just doesn’t have the offense , when we aren’t drawing walks and turning over our lineup to get 5 or 6 at bats we struggle , 6 runs should be enough to win most times , AJ looked pretty good

Rained a lot in the ATL today and that same system is headed to Knoxville. Hopefully it breaks up as the system moves north.
