Hart smacks his lips all night, but I didn't think there was an ex Vandy player on the broadcast. There was an ex gamecocks player. But when games are on a national TV broadcast the announcers are ESPN employees. When it's ESPN + they're typically the home teams employees.

Hitters have to learn to hit the pitch where it’s thrown.

It’s part of baseball. Either hit it the other way or bunt or swinging bunt it the other way.

If hitting out of the shift was that easy I'm sure they would, they just aren't hitting into it for giggles. Your missing one key part of the shift and thats the pitching strategy, Lefty vs Lefty and you are going to see nothing but inside heaters and thats a tough task to shoot oppo, only other choice is to get rung up, which I'm sure would sit well here so.......
