Can we let the players call the plays? I hate that I’m serious right now, but 3 turnovers and 0 points in the first half. What could go worse?

IMO Alabama has been so bad at the run, and we’ve been good, it looks like so far they are really focusing n stopping the run and playing it well. I’d go maybe a little more run with Sampson than we have been, the sideline WR screen passes are open but we’re not throwing them for some reason, we did one earlier and it worked good. But I still believe it’s going to be on Nico to hit a down field throw, or at least be consistently accurate to win this game. With him Bama focusing on the run, I do t know if we can break one with run heavy approach but maybe

This is just an old-fashioned defensive struggle. Only we are a bit more hamstrung then bama. JH needs to dumb this O down a little, it isn't working for Nico, and just get him some hits to the side lines and let the WR's fight for yrads.

they just broke down nico's int on the halftime show and it is morbidly interesting!

we ran 3 stop-and-go routes against drop 8 coverage. No check downs and everyone was covered (8 on 3) I've never seen a passing concept like that in my life. Nico should have thrown the ball away, but the coaches are not calling viable plays that give him good options and check downs.

Nico just can’t make the deep throw accurately, it’s there but he can’t hit it. If he can make those throws in the 2nd half they have chance. If not, no way as the running game is not going to cut it. It’s a shame because the D seems good enough if the O could score some points.

Ok so we have George McIntyre and the number one quarterback in 2026 faizon Brandon we should be excited but i feel there talent will be wasted if they come here with this coaching
