The Official #11/#9 Tennessee @ Florida Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

Had to go to a party and couldn’t watch after the first few minutes. Probably the best thing that’s happened to me lately

Unfortunately, my confidence in Joe Milton has fallen more than I hoped. The one overthrow to Keyton didn't bother me that much even the interception wasn't his fault. The complete lack of ability to handle the pressure is unfortunate to say the least. I believe the last series may have done it for me. He let the clock run down for some reason, tried a play action pass to a back that was in motion the way, then threw a a 5 yard pass on a 10 yard route. I saw a complete lack of faith by the coach and a young QB may get thrown in the fire after halftime.

I think Heup has lost faith in Joe, He stopped letting him throw it down field same as with Austin Pea, and the way he was burning up the clock before the half of this game. I would be shocked to see Joe come on the field in the 2nd half.
That's what I'm seeing.

So dumb to call him Heup. God, just call him by his name.

The D stays on the field because they can’t stop anything tonight. It’s been that way the entire game, even before and after we scored. Joe has his faults for sure but he’s not the sole reason we’re down 26-7 and it’s stupid to think he is.
You keep saying that all over this thread. Not a dang person on this thread is saying he's the only problem. The entire team looks like @#it. It's just that Milton "still" looks like crap and you folks have went all week being hostile as hell to anyone who thinks differently.

Defense does need to find out how to get off the field. They need 10, get 11, etc., on third down. I think their 3rd down conversion rate is high...like last year's defense high. This is not taking a step up on D, not this half.

I think he sticks with him.
agree. He is the future. this is who we have this season, like it or not. I don't think people realize how a play book is made, organized, used in practice and switching qbs now would tank tenn for a year because there are only a handful of plays (12 ish) in the play book for Nico if he were put in now and it takes weeks to tweak or add plays for a switch to nico.

there will not be an answer in this game. Tennessee will be lucky to get out of here and not lose by 40.

Milton is not the guy he’s had more time than most quarterbacks to figure out his throwing motion and it’s just not there.

The question is since I don’t think this is a winnable game anymore do you want to put Nico through it or start him next week and see what can happen?

Disagree. I think it would be great for Nico. No pressure on him because the game is done. Just let him get comfortable with the offense. Also, how do we know Nico won’t light it up? He may not but that’s expected.
I remember when a guy named Manning was brought in because of an injury and how he took over a so-so team.
