Good point. I always hate going without a seat though. The one time I tried this approach, I played musical chairs with people who showed up late. I finally just went back and stood and vowed never to do it again.
Definitely annoying getting up a lot but by the 3rd inning I usually find a seat from someone who ain’t showing up lol

Let me put it tonyou like this. Every game I attend on the porch, there are usually 19 other people(they hold 20)
Usually, about 16 of those people couldn’t care less about watching or even cheering for the baseball game.
They are there to hang out, be seen, drink beer, end of story.
It’s really sad but it’s true.

I feared this. Sucks.

When my 9 year old son and I attended the A&M game (Game 2), we were in Section 117. Not only were there only 4 of us in our whole row, he was the only one standing up and getting loud cheering on every single player and cheering on Marcus. I was cheering as well, but I didn’t stand. When we weren’t cheering, you could hear a pin drop.

Things that are not good for your heart. Smoking, drinking, too much chocolate (finger pointed at me) and Tennessee sports.

I feared this. Sucks.
It’s so disappointing 66!
Me and my boys always get there early, as soon as the gates open, because 1, my boys like snagging balls during BP and 2, we always get a good seat on the wall, and we don’t have to try to look over everyone socializing in front of us, just to see the game.
Made that mistake once and learned very quickly.
I’ve given my seat up to another kid a time or two, just to let them sit with my boys and actually be able to take in the game.

Sounds like you’re doing your part. I hate it, I don’t know what to do about it. 🤷‍♂️
