The Official #10 Auburn @ #12 Tennessee Series Thread (Sat. May 3 11AM EDT) (Sun. May 4 1PM EDT) (Sun. May 4 45 mins after) (All games SECNET+)

Only thing I can think of is leadership when it comes to this team. We need a vocal one. We don’t have dogs like we’ve had the last few seasons with Moore, Gilbert, etc. I’d like to see Hunter unleash his wild side for the remainder of the year.
Chemistry seems off, kind of like the 2023 team. Agree that no alpha leader has emerged to this point, do not think Ensley is the leader we need. We need someone with a little attitude and lots of confidence but IMHO all of the rotating positions does not instill confidence.

How does a natl champ coaching staff not have more than one starting pitcher at SEC level? (I understand AJ's limits right now, but they knew this last year.) Why not go get some more?
I think they thought Kuhns and several other freshman would be elite and the juco haul was big too with a lot of potential but they’ve all seemed to struggle in SEC play

I feel this is our best lineup with hitting and fielding combo.... If Levi can keep grinding and get it back... This lineup gives us the most power bats and Curley is fine at 2nd

Those kids are all still top 150 draft prospects. We have 8 top 150 guys in our roster. Next closest is LSU with 5.

Because when you recruit talent, you lose talent to the draft. We're young, the youngest team in the SEC.
