The Official #1 Tennessee vs UGA Last Home Series Thread (Thurs. 7PM EST ESPNU) (Fri. 5:30PM EST SEC Network) (Sat. 1PM EST SEC Network+)

Did I miss something
Virginia Tech was down 1-0 against Liberty in the bottom of the 9th. They came back from commercial and this girl flashed her headlights on television while they were showing the box score. One poster said Liberty cost themselves because they had a passed ball and allowed a runner to get into scoring position. Chuckiepoo thinks it was because of the high beams.

We're three victories away from claiming the SEC regular season championship. That means bad news for Georgia.
To be honest, I'm not sure how we will come out and play tonight. Maybe it's my absolute hatred for UGA coloring my outlook? Dunno, but I hope we come with passion and a lot of runs!

IMO…it greatly reduces the DP opportunity that really hurts. Especially if it’s the lead off batter.
Another good point! Another scenario a team gets into by allowing a runner on 2nd base is if less than 2 outs, is a fly ball allows opportunity for runner to tag up and attempt to reach 3rd base provided they don't get thrown out...

I really do think most baseball fans agree

It's better to be on second than first.

I also like my freshman pitchers to strike out the side rather than worry about the guy on base.
