Beam starting today but on a pitch count. Frank and Tony have everything measured as far as pitch counts go. They‘re not going to over extend a pitcher just to win this week. It’s disappointing to lose anytime, but the ultimate prize is not the SEC tournament championship.

The American Conference is terrible. ECU is #18 and no one else is higher than 91
If ECU does not win that tournament then there's a potential bid lost to SEC or ACC team. Tulane and Wichita remain in winners bracket. Their tournament is double elimination until the finals so ECU will have to beat Wichita State twice tomorrow to get to finals.

I looked at the D1 projections however, and no SEC school is in the Last Four or First Four lists/ But Florida and Alabama should hope that ECU storms throughtomorro to be sure.

Georgia Tech is on the Last Four list.

I love the approach…we are there to win and put best foot forward but not at the expense of bigger things…the more baseball the merrier but got to be smart about it!

I would say Beam, Behnke, Combs…possibly other relievers depending on situations…Need Zander to be held back to start tomorrow

I think you see the normal rotation now after Stamos/Causey pitched yesterday. So Beam and Combs and then start Sechrist tomorrow if you advance. If you make it to Sunday, it’s going to look a lot like it did Wednesday.

Peebles on base % is ok and he sees a lot of pitches but I just don’t think Tony is gonna DH the back up catcher , I too think he’s a good option against lefties
