Vanderbilt gets today off. If we win, we have to beat them twice tomorrow, right? We won’t have any more pitching available than they will.

NCAA website says winner of the Vols game today plays Vanderbilt tomorrow 30 min after the LSU- SCjr/KY game. The winners of those 2 games play Sunday for the championship.

This is incorrect. The winner of our game tonight plays Vandy tomorrow in a single elimination game to get to the championship. Our side of the bracket (UT, Miss St, Vandy) will only play a team from the other side in the final.

Yes the Sec tournament is actually two brackets….you don’t play any of the teams in the other bracket unless you make the championship game.

Tony never really clarified the Amick out trying to steal 3rd , it looked like a botched hit n run , I doubt very seriously if Amick has the green light to steal bases and even a coach called for a double steal with no outs against a pitcher that can’t throw strikes is pretty dumb , that inning started off great but we’ve made several mistakes the last two games that we need to clean up , I do think our approach at the plate was much better drawing several walks

Also kinda in a wierd position that most of our non starting pitching is used. If we use our starters now will it give them enough rest for regional?

I guess they would with championship being Sunday and regionals start Friday.

I was kinda thinking the whole team could use a little rest before regionals.
