I bet Corbin told his catcher to check the bats after big hits to look for the sticker. They were hoping to find a truly illegal bat. I wonder if the bat was returned after the game or sent off for examination.
Beck says in the post game he saw the sticker fly off in the batting cage and looked down and thought "whatever". If you know the sticker is required why would you take the bat to the plate? Why not reach down, pick the sticker up and stick it back on the bat? And if it wouldn't stay stuck surely there is a procedure by which you can notify the umps and get a new sticker. I thought the response was lame
Apparently the good lord did not think it necessary to bless you with a brain.
I mentioned I saw a guy in orange up there where he was whistling and he looked irritated, but the Vandy fans weren't looking pleased, either. Also, nobody sits next to him. I think he hurts more then helps-- hurts recruiting (I wouldn't want to go there with that loon whistling all the time) and how does it really help win a game? It drives fans away.I've seen this twit several times in Hoover. He didn't always use his fingers...could emit those ear-piercing whistles just sitting back. I know it's hard to believe, but he has actually lost some volume over the years.![]()
Honestly, just seeing the guy and his actions leads me to believe he seriously has a mental issue. It's a nervous habit, almost like he cant control himselfI mentioned I saw a guy in orange up there where he was whistling and he looked irritated, but the Vandy fans weren't looking pleased, either. EH, as a player or coach you dont really notice things like that. I dont see it having any effect on recruiting.I mentioned I saw a guy in orange up there where he was whistling and he looked irritated, but the Vandy fans weren't looking pleased, either.
