Obviously or you wouldn't be so anxious to play them. I'm hoping we pull a miracle out our butts tomorrow and beat Georgia so Obviously beating Clemson would be possible. But I just don't feel comfortable about it.

Jmo though.

I just don’t think we have the Defensive depth to shut them down. Especially late in the game. Their QB runs the ball very well and we have struggled with running QB’s this year too. I think it will look similar to the Ala**** game where we play tough into the 4th quarter, but just get gassed. I am hearing that Evans and Small may both be out at Running back. If we are one-dimensional with the passing game, we might get blown out.


Again, I hope I am wrong.

I once heard it said that Tennessee boosters would rather support a 7-5 team and keep their parking spots and seats than an undefeated team and lose those privileges. And the fanbase would rather the team go 7-5 and keep all the traditions rather than an undefeated season.

I agree with those assessments. Along those same lines, I personally don’t care about alternate uniforms. Because it doesn’t effect the outcome of the game. But this guy would rather lose than wear black:

I know. What's your point? I'd like as close to a guaranteed win as possible for this year. I could be wrong, but my way of processing this is if I'm a recruit, a win against a 5 win Texas Team is better than a loss against anyone.

I personally don't care for the black, and I hate the gray ones...
But, I really don't give a crap.

Texas needs 6 wins to be bowl eligible I hate Texas and would love to beat them though

A who said F*** are these people posting in our thread. (( Edit: Mexican got me with the screenshot. Damn that guy.)) and 2nd. We wore black the first 15-20 years of football so it’s Tennessee tradition and if you don’t like it ….get over it. It’s not like it’s for you anyway
