DK would have benefited greatly if that Charlotte trade had gone through. He is clearly not in Redick's plans, and needs to get somewhere he can get some minutes and get into some kind of rhythm.

I'm still convinced he will be a productive role player in the Kyle Korver mold, but so much of what a young player can be depends on the situation they get drafted into. The Lakers run a heavy P&R offense that revolves around Luka, and he needs defense and shooting around him to succeed. DK only offers one of those.

With Luka and Austin, there really isn't a place for him in the regular rotation.

The defensive rating of his teammates isn't much better. IMO, he's the scapegoat for Reddicks horrible team defense.

No doubt, and it gets worse with James back. He needs to go to a young team that stresses off-ball movement and motion similar to what he had here. He's in about the worst place he could be right now.

I’ll probably still mainly post in the recruiting forum, but what up fellas. Gonna try to post in here a bit more. This team is very good and a legit natty threat.

DK can be an all star under the right circumstance. He has to actually be given time on the court though

Welp everyone it was fun having this place to ourselves for the first month.

Yep. The drive-by FF is a coming and the casuals are also about to ramp it up. The Legions are on the way.

They’ll soon be reminding us that Barnes is making north of $5 million, he wanted to go to UCLA, he couldn’t win a national championship with Kevin Durant (most won’t remember that the Texas Final 4 appearance wasn’t KD’s year), Barnes chokes in March (totally disregarding his SECT track record), the game has passed him by, etc, etc.

Wait until they find out we already lost to Kansas, and Bruce beat them!

The right circumstances? He could be a solid contributor in a team's rotation. That's his ceiling in the NBA. He's not good enough in any circumstance to be an All-Star, except maybe in an overseas league
