Fortunately Fulky has looked much better physically the last couple games. Hopefully he can continue to regain his form and earn more minutes going forward
Agreed. If we have Fulky playing to potential again, that makes March look MUCH brighter. Trim the rotation to ON, Fulk, Plav at the 5 and go small ball outside of that. I like the potential of these lineups a lot a lot.

We’d have a very good shot at SEC regular season title if Georgia could’ve hit their free throws at the end of the auburn game today. Getting UK and auburn at home, I think there’s a very good shot we beat both (don’t call me a bandwagon, I’ve been saying this on here for weeks ;))

The scout worked perfectly tonight and we got exceptional execution putting the ball 🏀 in da hole.
I wouldn’t mind seeing BHH, if…IF, he impressed Barnes in practice, another shot or two, but I’ll leave that to Rick and the coaches. Kid was given a long leash, imho.

BHH hasn’t capitalized on his minutes since garbage time against ky. He’s going to have to start producing or those minutes may well be gone in the next few big games

To be honest, I’d rather have the SEC Tournament crown. Haven’t won one of those in a LONG time.

As a Tennessee fan, it would be awesome to win the SECT (haven’t seen one in my lifetime). But, the regular season seems much more meaningful overall, IMO. Also, the way I look at it, I’d rather lose in the SECT because it’s much harder to win 9 games in a row than it is 6 games in a row lol

These are all valid points. I think you’re right, regular season is more meaningful. I’d just like to see us win the tourney. Plus, I’m not too worried about the whole winning 9 games in a row is too tough thing. Auburn won the SEC tourney and then went to the Final Four a few seasons back. If that team could do it, we could do it.

I have zero hope of winning our last 6 with below average post play and 2 freshmen point guards. Trying to be realistic, I’m just hoping to go 3-1 in our last 4 as the ceiling but maybe that’s the BVS talking

Vols have 2 of top 6 defenders in the country according to this..

It’s been weird to me that Kennedy got a nod for the Top 15 DPOY award watch list, but Josiah is not on it. Feels like Josiah is our best defender. He is always guarding the best player on the other team, yet he isn’t getting any recognition. It’s odd.

Yea, if you ask the staff they’ll tell you without hesitation it’s JJJ. KC is good, and getting better, but the versatility of JJJ really pushes him over the top.

It kind of just proves to me that all of these end of year awards aren’t actually capturing necessarily the best in that category. Not sure how these people could say they watch basketball, look at the metrics, and not even nominate JJJ.

How do people have Arkansas over Tennessee in their ballots? Literally zero sense

Because a very large portion of journalists don’t actually watch all of the games or do any research.

They see “Arkansas has won 8 games in a row? Oh I must put them high up.”

Or, they watch one nationally televised game (like TN vs. Texas) and that one performance will stick with them for weeks and they’ll use it to say “TN didn’t look that good the one time I watched them so I guess they’re pretty bad.”

Total clown show. On the other hand, I'll put in a shout out for our highest vote (#12), which comes from a gentleman named Luke DeCock:

Edit: A writer from Arizona also has us ranked highly, he may remember a certain beating from earlier this season.
