How many of the Vols starting OL would start at the other schools in the power 5 conferences.

Freshmen may be a problem, but there is another problem - we are getting beat on the left side, the right side and the middle.

Which ones are those?

Give it up man. We have the most intelligent people on this board when it comes to football knowledge..., yet they always fail to realize that the offense is as basic as it gets. If you can't run our plays there is no hope. Mahoney isn't a great coach or recruiter, I've been saying this for a very long time, but we don't have any tackle prospects outside Blair and Kendrick. No one can work with the crap we have right now at OL. Mahoney probably isn't the answer, but he's not the full cause of these OL problems either.

Im not going to say Mahoney is the best OL coach in the world, but to say Cincy has had horrible O-lines tells me you don't have any idea what you are talking about. They ran the ball very effectively under CBJ his last two years. In 2011 they averaged 178.5 yards per game. It's not just about playing in the Big East either. We ran the ball for the second most yards in the last 15 years last year with an experienced o-line, something we couldn't do when Chaney was here.

Exactly...wanna know why our O-line is a scary hodge podge cluster....

One whole recruiting class without a single OL signee.

If the OL struggles this year doesnt convince Drew Richmond that he has immediate playing time here at Tennessee, nothing will. Vols need him, bad.

Well if they are going to stack 9 in the box the 3 step drop will be there all day.

Worley needs to throw it no matter what. If it's open hit it. If not throw it away. Under no circumstances do you check to a third option.

Absolutely. Mahoney can't recruit and that's obvious, but when the talent is there this offense is very effective. Something will have to be done about the OL recruiting, but right now this is Dooley's product. We need a RT and LT so we can move Thomas to C and Kerbs back inside.

Kerbyson looks about as athletic as my grandmother and just looks soft. Can we not get OL players with a fricking chip on their shoulder?

He's also gotta be wondering what type of coaching and development he will/won't get to prepare him for the NFL if he comes to Tennessee. Him being there to see this performance in person ain't helping imo.
