The offense was the saving grace today, by being able to put together time conssuming drives to let the defense get some rest, instead of constant 3 & outs that would wear our D out. Which was huge! Being how thin we were in the back end already.

I am concerned with how predictable they are. They run on first down. Then throw a pass to the flats on second. Finally, JG has to make a long 3rd down pass. Seemed like it was every single series. Props to the Oline for stepping up and giving JG time to throw. JG had some beautiful passes and the WRs made great catches. RBs ran hard but there wasnt much there for them. Everyone protected the ball also! Plus, they kept the ball and kept our D on the sidelines more. Really good overall.

I agree and was actually calling the running plays and which direction out to my wife before the play was ran. I think I missed one that ended up being a pass. But it was easy to see and we just don’t have the badazzes on the OL to just tell everyone here we are and here’s where we’re going and we dare you to stop us. I can’t wait til we are that team, And maybe they are trying to instill that type of mentality in these kids. But it’s frustrating to watch it sometimes. On the positive, great win and JG on the one play where he got drilled. He actually froze like he knew what was coming but was going to make that play. My level of respect for him and his toughness got moved up a couple of pegs today. Props
