Get some JuCo players to plug the holes, start recruiting heavily for next year, and take care of business.

that's the plan. have 3 OL signed on the incoming FR class already, and a Juco tackle.

should get another Juco guard to sign in Feb.

and still recruiting another incoming Fr guard for this class.....6 total.

so they're trying to exactly that, get immediate help and provide some depth now.


they're going in big on some big time talent for the 19 and 20 classes already.

O-line depth concerns me.

This. The question I have is why is this still a problem? My theory is it goes all the way back to the year Dooley signed 0 ol. Cupboard got way behind bare, Jones was not able to restock. Tn will not be good again until we can just plug in the next man up, like Bama. Pruitt understands this I bet.
Majors had the same problem with lack of linemen on both sides and went juco. Still took awhile. I hope the fans are patient enough.

that's not the reason now. jack jones basically retired. Chance Hall has been hurt and out a lot. and Boulware left the team.

we went in to last year with a true two deep at each position, and by the end of the year, i think we were down to 6 or 7 guys.

attrition the last two years has been the biggest issue....

they're going to probably get 6 OL in this class, 3 of which will probably figure in to PT in some way, shape or form.....

and have started laying a foundation for the next two classes.

but yes, depth is an issue.

Khalil to O line. Was that a real thing? And is that why he declared?

Don’t know if it was a real thing, but it should have been. KMac didn’t have the athletic ability to be the dynamic, explosive, disruptive, 5 star DT he was billed to be. We saw him for 3 years, that much has been 100% confirmed.

I heard Austin Price of VQ say that Fulmer would’ve seen KMac back in the day 1 or 2 times and very quickly moved him to offensive guard.

Finally, Hubbs said this morning that the only thing that makes sense about KMac declaring at this point is that he was just tired of being in school and was just ready to move on.
