The Numbers Crunch And Slicing Off The Bottom.

If you had 23 in 09, you could only backcount 2 to that class. I'm not sure why you have 4 h8ter. Max enrolled is always going to be 25.

I guess it depends on the complete history of backcounts which I don't have.

Edit: Maybe some of the 23 in 09 were backcounted to 08?

h8ter's #s are completely wrong. As was stated previously, if you count Malik the number we can sign is 28 because we cannot backcount. Malik would make the 25th enrolled member of last year's class.

Here is my math from 2009 on.....

In 2009, we signed 23 (Nick Lamaison). Out of those 23, only James Green didn't make it. So, we have 3 backcounts towards the 2010 class.

In 2010, we signed 27. Out of those 27, 4 didn't qualify. So that's 23. Then you backcount 3 to 2009, and that leaves you with 20. Then you add Brewer, Gooch, and Jackson, which brings the total back up to 23.

So, do we actually have 2 backcounts to last year because of non-qualifiers?? It makes sense, but I'm probably missing something too. I do believe we had 3 backcounts last year, IIRC.

Fixed my own post. So, it seems we have 30 spots available, which makes things MUCH better.

The official number enrolled in '09 is 23. That has been stated continually by Hubbs and others. It's written in history. We can backcount 2 from last year to that class for a total of 25.

What Rucker said is correct. 28 total signees 3 would have to not make it.

Still wrong! Why would you backcount 3 when you only have 2 spots available? You are confused, sir.

You didn't re-read it, did you??

I said we had 2 backcounts, which would let us sign 30. Which means we can enroll 27 full qualifiers (25+2) and sign and place up to 3. That's what I got now.

So help me out because you guys are losing me and this is starting to sound like a scene from Clue.

What number can we actually take and actually enroll?

Thanks.

That's still wrong, dude.

You have 27 signees last year including Darr and Clark. 4 did not make it. Then you add Gooch and if you are correct, Jackson and you have 25 which is a full class.

ROFL!!! Rivals didn't have Lamaison or Hughes for '09. So, that's why my numbers are screwy. So, I am back at my original 29 number. Sorry for the confusion folks.

Brewer doesn't count, that's why we have 1 backcounting. MLB picking up the tab on that one, so you can backcount 1 to last year.

So 26 enrolled up to 3 more s&p? Is that what I am reading? You guys were funny tonight. Sounded like a HS math problem. Which of you has been practicing with Martin?

If 3 recruits are flying to Knoxville at the same speed....
