Stephens has proven he can manage an offense more efficiently than Crompton. With UT's defense, that's all they need.

I believe in supporting a coaches decision, but somethings arent the best, put in Stephens.

i know coach is letting crompton play cause he a senior, but foor ticket buyers etc,its time to change qb's,its obvious crompton cannot read defenses fast enough for sec or any college teams, and if they said it was close in practivces, between qb's,i say nick can prolly read defenses better during game play.so time for qb change, not play the senior, cause of his senior year.

Look I for 1 have been wanting Stephens in myself, with that beig said I feel comfortable from here on out with Crompton. Yes he threw 2 pix but he actually managed the game well. The only reason I would want Stephens in now would be Only if we plan on using him as starter next season.

Hey guys I think Crompton is not up to par either but from what I saw in the past Stephens is not the answer

Give Laimison his turn the other 2 have had theirs and we know what it looked like.....I don't think it could be much worse.

Not sure who all notices this, but Crompton has some leadership skills....at times. He directs the receivers off or on the line of scrimmage when they need to be. 4 example Jones was on the line but so was Stocker so Crompton noticed it and waved Jones back. Smart Play by him

Anyone can have a bad game.

The thing with Crompton is... that's every game.

So what's your point?

My point is Stephens has had ample time to prove he his better than Crompton and has never done so. What is your point exactly? You just said Stephens has proven he is better than Crompton. That is absurd. That never happened.

You were one of the fans calling for Crompton to start when Ainge was starting weren't you?

What exactly has Stephens proven?

That he can lose to Wyoming?

That two separate coaching staffs have now evaluated him and decided he is not as good as Crompton?

That he has earned the nickname "PickNick" in vols practices?

Face it man, Stephens sucks. We just don't have anything in the QB stable right now. You can thank the fat man for that.

FWIW, I thought Crompton played better today than last week. The 2nd INT today was just an amazing play by a UF athlete. Last week his INT's looked like he didn't know what plays he was running.
