Well, that was a lot of fun. I wish I knew more about the nuances of the game, but my family had great time. Probably helped that Dallas won 4-1. My son told me about half way through "We need to watch more of these games".

The Czechs had beaten Canada or lost to Deutschland at World Juniors. They did both this year. Germans shut them out after allowing 24 total goals in their first 3.
