The NBA Draft Thread

Now that I'm watching this draft, I've decided that it is the worst draft I have ever seen.

Farried will be a solid NBA player

I agree, I've said that for a while. He rebounds like a monster and he has two things that translate well to the NBA: toughness and a high motor. I'm not saying he will be an all-star, because I don't think he will...but I think it's very possible to see him on the all-NBA defensive team a few times in his career. A great role player.

Why are kids allowed to declare for the NBA draft when they are under contract in another country. Stupid IMO.

What's up with the kid from Texas not getting drafted yet? Was Bilas' 9th best player

Because bilas doesn't know what NBA teams look for and use the same mental method in picking his list as you or I would.

Jordan Hamilton this late in the draft is a pretty good pick. He just needs to get smarter, and better shape. Mavs got a steal if they keep him.

That sounds like a pretty good move for all 3 teams. Is Rudy any good now though?

I would have kept Hamilton, but he does have poor shot selection sometimes. I guess they wanted a specialty shooter after sitting Peja the entire Finals.
