Ive said that myself not a popular opinion but i agree. What he did with his team that day against 4 stars wasnt an accident. He simply out coached us. I thought that dude knows what hes doing. We looked lost trying to figure ga.state out.

The only certainty is UT is going to F up every coaching search. Like every other hire this one will be a disaster

I knew after the BYU game we were in trouble. Now after everything that's happened in 2020 we only ask for a good hire.
The fan base needs it. I believe if we don't get a hire that excites the base our program is only going to get worse.

- Hire a G5 coach with little to no SEC experience (I mean, one year at Missouri?) and no real SEC recruiting ties or chops? Delays return to winning.
- Pull together a new coaching staff and implement a philosophy and build recruiting ties, in the world’s most difficult recruiting environment? Delays return to winning
- Lose all your good players to the portal? Delays return to winning.
- Absorb likely material NCAA penalties including almost certain scholarship reductions? Delays return to winning.
- Retain below (SEC) average recruiting class? Delays return to winning.
- Play Bama, Florida and UGA every damn year? Delays return to winning.
Net net: it’s going to be a LONG time before Vols win again. A really LONG time.

Why is everyone upset? We don’t know who White has spoken to nor do we have his list of names.

The media is clueless and making accusations while hoping something sticks. I for one find it refreshing that there are not any leaks and White is taking his time.

The names floating out there are from media and/or agents trying to attain raises for their clients.

Just my $.02 and I will support the new coach.

Go Vols!

Welcome to reality. I respect any coach that would take on this steaming pile of dog sh!t football program. People already wanting to fire our AD and trashing coaches that have only been mentioned as prospects. Then someone supposedly emailed Dykes. Would you risk putting your wife and children through this toxic grinder? I sure as hell wouldn’t. TN is not a desirable job as you can see for the 3rd or 4th time in 10 years.. I honestly lost count.

I sure hope I'm wrong but every day that goes by is a bad sign that White can't convince anyone to coach here.

Geez , we probably know about 5% or less of what’s going on with the coaching candidates and you are sounding doomsday alarms. New regime , let’s see what happens.
