Obviously Butch is out at some point this year, but of course I knew that when he lost to Georgia 41-0 in his fifth year at UT. Another example of the nail in the coffin for me is when Mississippi State recovered their own kickoff against us in 2012, that was the moment I knew Dooley was never going to get the job done at UT.

So the question is when did you know that Butch wasn't going to get the job done at UT?

Loss to South Carolina in Columbia last year.

I was there. It was inexcusable.

I started really doubting Butch during the Vandy game last year, but I officially moved on at the end of the Florida game this season

The nail was the graduation of rocket scientist/magician Josh Dobbs. It exposed this scheme as a heaping pile of junk. He was bailing this Titantic the past two years and making it presentable. His replacements are not as capable.

OU and UF 2015 foreshadowed what's to come.
Vandy 16 sent me to the ledge.
Florida 17 was it for me.

Ironically people at times thought it might be Dobbs holding back the team, but in reality he was the heart and soul of the team.

I second this with the exception of it last game for me was today.

9-3 I think he still would have shown progress and deserved another year.

When we had to google to find out who he was. Then we realized.... that's the Cincinnati coach Dooley beat the brakes off of.....

2014 Gators come into Neyland and Muschamp gets to disappoint ALL those fans...the first time. He got to do it again today.

Florida. I was naive before.

This was me as well. It wasn't like Dooley. I knew he was in over his head almost immediately. Butch was different, however. I was fully on the train through the '15 season and rightfully so (team looked really good despite the blown 4th quarters). 2016 is really when I started questioning his ability and losing faith, but this year's Florida game was it for me. I knew right then and there it was over.

We score 9 points in both games. Coincidence?

BOTH games play out almost EXACTLY alike. That '14 game proved to me Butch had a flawed offensive system and did NOT make good in-game or time management decisions. I posted about it then...and was flamed.
