The move of Garner to AU is good -

Got it. Garner recruiting the state of GA weakens our team. How does it make your team stronger?

Example: Country X has a nuclear missle. Country Y does not. Country Z steals the nuclear missle and is no threat to country Y. Country Y is made stronger because Country X is now weaker.

Terrible example, but, I guess I get your point.

Did garner get lazy or something? How does he have the two best d ends in his backyard and not have a shot with them

No, Garner did a great job at UGA. I certainly understand why you would think that, but it is not the case.

Lawson never received an offer because he did not fit the scheme. Kim Dichee wanted to get out of state from day one, UGA was his first offer.

The whole premise is based on a strong AU being good for Tennessee as they play Georgia and Alabama every year.

In 2010, Auburn won a Natty and UT finished with a losing season if I remember correctly. I'd say Auburn was really strong that year.

Let me put it this way, I will trade our every year SEC Western opponent for yours ... deal?

You're going off topic now. You guys bragg about how you dominated BAMA before Saban got there but now you complain because you have to play them every year.

The complaint is not that we play them every year, I want that. The complaint is that your traditional SECW opponent is weaker the majority of the time and that is a negative factor for UT. That essentially is the topic. We play Alabama, you guys play AU. Sure, there may be an exception every now and then - but everyone is aware that Georgia's draw is easier. Given that you play a weaker SEC Western opponent the majority of the time, I want AU to be as strong as possible and Garner can help make that happen.

I think James Garner would add immediate respect and intimidation to a team

Jennifer Garner is, bar none, the best closer in Georgia. Her work on Alias set the bar pretty high for any recruiter in the region. That is going to be tough to beat.

I wouldn't say the majority of the time. It is a small majority. Traditionally, especially in the last couple years, Alabama has been the stronger opponent. But since Bear Bryant left, Auburn has been the stronger opponent the majority of the time.
