I see other schools getting proven winner with national championship winning coach, Dan Mullen, undefeated UCF coach, etc. And we're getting another Saban's puppet? Anybody can look good under Saban's supervision and stacked 5* two deep. FML, RIP Tennessee football 1891-2017

OMG!! Pruitt isn't even hired and you start bit***n'..Get over it..Wait, does this mean you won't post anymore??:crossfingers::crossfingers:

Don't want to hear it.
Get on board or quietly you can be miserable on your own.
We have a good one here. Saban knows what he is doing. Just look at Kirby Smart and **** Stain Lane . Good coaches identify talent not just from players but from coaches. And Fulmer is good Saban is good.

Proven HC's get old and then become no longer very good. It happens to all of them eventually. They fail to evolve. All head coaches come from somewhere. And the best HC's are groomed from a championship winning HC.
It's how it works. So to all that say he has not been a HC, I refer you to Butch Jones, now kindly, STFU.

He's worked with Saban 4 non consecutive years. Coincidentally, no natiobal championship in those 4 years.
Wrong

Alabama national championship 2011, 2012 (db coach both years)
FSU national champion 2013 DC
Improved GA defense from 45th to 5th (2014) then 1st (2015)

2017?? One of four teams still on the stage.

That's all in addition to two high school state championships as a coach in Hoover AL (2004 & 2005)

Seems pretty consistent

Recruits well too.

Dont let facts get on the way of a good story.
See my previous post (above)
...unless you meant those facts were getting in the way of your story.

If that is the case....you were right to errantly refute his facts. Nice job.

IMO Tucker had the most impressive resume and Steele more experience. I dunno why we went with Pruitt but ill give him a chance. His resume ain't too shabby either

Time will tell. He doesn’t have a proven, crappy record like Steele or Doeren so I will reserve judgement. Seems to be working out ok for UGA

Most underwhelming thread of 2017

Exactly. We got rid of Jones✔️ Got Phil in as AD which should have been done in the first place ✔️ Getting a proven SEC recruiter who runs a kick A$$ defense ✔️ Go Vols!!!!

This isn't about Gruden. Honestly is that what anyone expected when Butch was fired. What happened to back the money truck up and get a major hire, like Bama, or TAM, or Florida, or Nebraska, or UCLA. We thought Kelly was a possibility, or someone like Gundy or Petersen, Frost, Mullen, or even Leach, or Kiffin.

Absolutely no one was saying I hope we get Pruitt, or Steele, or someone's DC. The future does not look bright. We have the money to pay as much as Bama pays for a staff. Something is not right on Rocky Top.

It’s late so I’ll try to break these down quick for you.

Kelly: wanted to be on the west coast and in the PAC 12. Took less $ at UCLA than UF was offering NOT ABOUT THE MONEY.

Gundy: played QB at OK St and that is his dream job. He interviewed with us to leverage his AD to pay for facility improvements and a raise. He took 2 million a year less than we were reported to be offering NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

Petersen: has always been a west coast guy and made no indication he wanted the UT job. He turned down Southern Cal before taking the Washington job even tho it paid more NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

Frost: won a national championship as QB at Nebraska, it’s his dream job, would be like if Peyton was a coach and Bama thought he would coach there b/c they will pay him more than UT NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

Mullen: was OC at UF under Meyer, always wanted to go back but didn’t get along with the AD, AD retired last year so his dream job came open NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

Leach: is friends with Currie, wanted to work with him no matter which big school he was at, had no desire to coach at UT unless Currie was his boss NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

Kiffin: piece of garbage that created the mess we’re in and has been leading the charge in humiliating us during this search, literally been fired from every job except UT, only reason people mention him is b/c they’re desperate and can’t believe that someone would leave this program, “please come back Lane, this place is really awesome and we don’t know why you left us, we’ll be better fans this time” you all sound like girls in an abusive relationship begging their abuser to give them another chance. Pathetic
