Will the real UT please stand up? Which team are we? The one that got manhandled in the first quarter or the team that dropped 24 on them in one quarter? Which Josh Dobbs is playing for us? The one who clumsily dances around in the backfield until he gets dropped for a 5 yard loss or the guy who dances through the line of scrimmage like a phantom that can't even be seen by the other team?

I don't know what to expect from the team this year. I can't tell if we'll beat the crap out of Alabama or choke to death in the locker room trying to put our jerseys on.

Last season there were troubles in the fourth quarter. It seems that first quarter struggles are the storyline for this season. I'll take the swap.

Offensive production, was bad, flat out. The defense after the first quarter improved, but there were a lot of missed tackles. Poor ball handling skills, and penalties from undisciplined VT players gave us the leg up for 3 quarters.

If we spot Florida, Georgia, TA&M, or Alabama 14 points in the first quarter, we're going to have a much harder time playing catch up.

We're a flawed team right now.

We need a complete overhaul on the offensive line.

Richmond and Thomas should be benched. Hall needs to get healthy and Jack Jones should be starting.

Now you're enjoying 80's Vols football......which is an improvement.....it's the next step.
