Is there really no such thing as bad publicity in the college football world? For all the gnashing of teeth that has gone here, we are still on the front page. what say you?

I'd rather not be in the news without the possibility of probation,then the other way around.

I think for a long time we and should I say UT VOL NATION forget that CLK is no Dummy, did we really think that he hasn’t been through this before at USC really! The problem is that WE supporters want the football back to the promise land so bad, that we have NOT allowed ourselves to TRUST CLK with the KEYS yet. I can’t say that this week’s news has had me reading everything I could to see how bad it’s going to be, but all in all we need to just sit back and smile as CLK takes everyone to task with these "Breaking News Reports". Remember that as they "other coaches sitting around and laughing" at the most opportune time of recruiting...What Team is EVERYONE TALKING about...YEP its UT again....Followers, please stand back and let him have the Keys and enjoy the ride! :hi:

the thing is that i dont believe there is any chance of probation in any of this. LSU got caught paying a player, Bama and the textbooks, auburn and the big cat weekend, and the list goes on, but the constant is that all of those didnt amount to any damage to the program. Good grief, bama is a serial offender and they received what barely amounts to a slap on the wrist.

I think....I smell fear. Nothing more, nothing less....and I dont think Coach Kiffin is afraid...

I also see it as a motivator....it might hurt recruiting, but I am not sure that it does.....just depends on how you look at it.

The Thamel is just mad cuz we got Tobias Harris....and Syracuse didn't. :)

remember when bama first hired saban and bama was always getting in trouble and how he wouldn't be there long and bama would be back on probation for breaking all the rules in recruiting when all saban was doing was dancing around the grey area....How is that working out for bama?? my point exactly

If all of this blows over and we win the bowl game all will be well. They will still come after us, but so will the recruits.

as long as our boosters are not paying high school coaches cash money to steer recruits our way as was done in memphis a few years back im ok...we are more talked about than the pending national championship game
