the most bs call

I don't know for sure that it changed the outcome, but you like to think that it did.

He made a good attempt of wrapping his body around so that he led with the shoulder. It was a bad call...ball was in play and he didn't lead with his helmet.

The call happened after the Oregon receiver finished juggling and had hit the ground. Play was over and the UT guy clearly led with his helmet as other Vols on here have pointed out. Stupid play that gave us a second wind on a drive and you've got every right to be annoyed by it but it wasn't a BS call by any means.

He led with the helment. It will get called every time.

That is BS! He turned his back not to lead with his helmet. At best, he hit him with a shoulder and more so with his back! I have been drinking a lot but not enough to see that!

The game had already changed. We can't have 3 and outs. I have to believe that our running game has opened the passing lanes some. Simms threw a bad ball on that 3rd down if we connect they may not of had time to score at the end. Now we have to start over and start pushing them around. And would a defensive end please read the qb for once.

Of course you will agree with the call but it should not have been called or your guys would have about 100 yards of penalties on that alone right now.

I call BS on your post. I have nothing against you guys and hope you win the Pac 10, however, that was a biased statement.

Yes, yes. I know you will say the same of me BUT.... if you look at the replay, you will see I am right! I would surely say otherwise if it were the right call.

I just went back and watched it again. He went in with his head down, but he clearly rolled into the guy and actually hit him with the back of his shoulder.

Clearly you did not watch the replay. There was no roll over until after he almost took his head off.

I think the guy was still clearly juggling the ball and had a chance to catch it. Is the DB supposed to just concede the catch? Hell no.

The replay I saw looked like he was leading with his helmet. Not too mention the fact that he'd be down for awhile. Granted, like you said... we're both biased. That's why they have referees.

I'm telling you, I just watched it. I don't think there was even any helmet to helmet contact. You could possibly argue that he came in slightly late, but even that is a little sketchy.

With the helmet/shoulder... it doesn't matter!!!

The guy was on the ground. Late hit. PERIOD.

If he was that worried about him catching the ball, smack it out with your hands.... which would have been easier to do and more effective.
