The more I read here the more concerned

I am that this might be an other "Archie Who?" game.

For those who weren't around the talk was eerily similar to a lot of posts on here.
Good thing we have no impact on the players and the coaches. Some people like to flatter themselves thinking they do but they have no impact on the actual outcome

I agree OP. I'm nowhere as confident as most people. I have seen this scenario so many times where we have all the momentum and "feel" a big victory over the gators only to have our hopes dashed. I sure hope this time is different and we finally get the monkey off our backs.

I'm not worried about Florida's offense. I'm worried that we will come out like we did with Pitt and go 3 and out several times in a row. I'm also worried about our punting game. We're getting close to getting one blocked and everybody is coming after the punter. Scouts see it and know we are vulnerable. If we don't improve, it will happen. This how we keep losing to these guys. Every year it's like a shock. Fumbles, interceptions, turnovers and suddenly we a down 21 - 0 in the first quarter. Our own worst enemy is us. It has been for the past 15 - 20 years. The gators are just the benefactor. We need to get in front and stay there.

Archie was the real deal and had the numbers to prove it. The man could play. If he was playing today he would still be the best QB in the conference.

Dude’s like 70 years old. No way he’s still better than Hooker. Maybe better than Richardson. He’d probably have less tackles than Richardson though.

Speak for yourself. There could be plenty on here that know a player and have some influence on them.

LOL. I don't mean 70 YO Manning, I meant 22 YO Manning. Except for Peyton, I would rank Archie as the best QB out of the SEC ever. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Yes, if there were one game Vol fans should never boast and woof about prematurely, it would be this one. (And, yea, bama would be the other
one.)
