The MF'n Finals Thread

The real argument you should give is the coaches, nobody could possibly argue the gap between the two.

Just the crazy gap you're talking about.

Think Spo wouldn't have won with the bulls squads or?

Not 6, no I don't. I think Phil had a lot to do with MJ becoming a winner. That being said, I do think Phil is overrated. Having the best player every championship year helps. But I still don't think Spo is in his league.

Spo has gotten better, but Rick Carlisle coached circles around him a few years ago. Plus he whines like a little girl.

Why not? He's winning with a less talented roster now.

He's also coaching against a lot less talented teams than the Bulls went against.
Serious question, who have they beaten in the playoffs? A meh Bobcats team without their best player healthy, a team of Dinosaurs with a rookie coach, and a team full of dysfunction that had one of the strangest ends to a season in recent memory. Excuse if I'm not impressed.

Not really.

'96 Bulls beat one good team before the Finals. (Magic-60 wins)

''97 Bulls beat one good team before the Finals. (Heat-61 wins)

'98 Bulls beat one good team before the Finals. (Pacers-58 wins)

He's winning at a historical rate. I remember when people said the same thing about Phil Jackson.

They beat multiple 50 win teams in the playoffs 4 of their 6 years.

92' Cavs 57 and Knicks 51

93' Knicks 60 and Cavs 54

97' Heat 61 and Hawks 56

98' Pacers 58 and Hornets 51

The 96' Knicks team only won 47 but was a good squad, and would have beaten the 3 teams Miami played this year.

The East is so bad it's not funny right now. There is no way anyone can argue that. Who they played isn't comparable, except the Bulls first title it was a cake walk. IMO
