The MF'n Finals Thread

Stole this from another forum but, Spurs will probably take their time and shop around for a couple days to find the best deal before fixing the A/C.

I don't know. Everybody from San Antonio looked pretty miserable after playing through that too.

I wouldn't be surpised. Lebron cramped in last year's finals in San Antonio. He has a history of cramps.

Yeah it had to be miserable for everyone involved.

I've seen a lot of people say that the heat shouldn't bother them. They would compare it to football. The thing is football players are in the heat every day. You can't compare the 2.

That's a good point. I was kinda surprised to not see guys going to the locker room to get IV's.

Boris was a key, imo. He had a couple of really good plays on both ends and his nice under the rim kickout to Green after Green had just hit his first 3 after being 0-5 was a shot that knocked the wind out of the Heat.

We got lucky to win that one. With 20+ turnovers you can't expect to win regular season games, let alone a game in the finals, against the Heat. I was skeptical going in to the series, but after last night and finding a way to win when you're not playing your best basketball is a good sign. Green's confidence level should be through the roof after that finish, Kawhi and Boris should be happy with their defense on James. If those three continue playing the way they finished game 1 and with home court advantage I think the Spurs get the series in 6 or 7.

He's the Spurs 3rd biggest player, but he's bigger than anybody on Miami, and he can bust 3s. He's a tough matchup for them.

BTW, Ray Allen was really fun to watch, and may have had the best game on Miami. That dunk was awesome. He made them *****es

He gave Serge problems last series. Dude is really skilled, just seems a little lazy.

That's the problem. You don't want to put Serge on him in the first place, because he'll pull your best rim protector away from the basket. Same thing with Andersen and Bosh (even though Bosh is not a great rim protector, he's their 2nd best). You put Battier on him and then he posts him up.

That was the issue though, they had to put Serge on him. Nobody else could begin to matchup with him. KD got on him a few times and he just banged him around down low. Then factor in his passing, and he's just a tough cover for anyone really.

Idk if wade is better than pippen/rodman. Totally different players though... And I love Wade
