Anyone think we could swing a trade for Kyrie Irving?

This is pure hypothetical. ...nothing more than a thought.

I like Conley plenty but that dumpster fire in Cleveland just seems like a perfect opportunity to make a move for a potential superstar point guard.

Have you tried it out on the trade machine? To see if the numbers work out? Don't we owe Conley a lot of $$$?

I'm gonna try to help the team end this losing streak at 2 games.

You're gonna love it. Nba games are a blast. Lots going on, and they fill the downtime and stoppages with a lot of entertainment. I would only put an nba game behind a nascar race or cfb game in terms of attending live.

I can't wait. I still want an opportunity to see them in the FXF. That will come, I'm sure. I blew my one shot I had a few years ago. I don't think I can justify the 7 hour drive just to see a game.

Thanks for feeding my dogs, btw!

I was told that Phillips Arena is usually dead and uneventful. But atleast you'll get to see the Grizz.

Combine it with something else. Perhaps a good concert playing at Minglewood Hall or Mud Island.

Maybe we'll get to move down lower, then.

It's a Saturday evening game, so I'm hoping there is some energy. But not TOO much! Maybe there will be some Grizz fans there.

Can always just go out for a night on Beale or somewhere in Midtown like Madison.

Absolutely. It took me a few years of living here to find out just how much neat stuff there is to do here. Hey, if we were to make the playoffs, Thrasher could get some scalped tickets and go to Beale St. Music Fest. One of my annual things that I do is go to the dog track and place KY Derby bets and then swing back to BSMF if there's anyone good playing, which there usually is.

Maybe so. I'll bring Nerd.

If you do, let us know. Some of us may come hook up with you. A lot of Memphians avoid the BSMF, kind of like East Tennesseans avoid Gatlinburg, but it's definitely worth going once in your life. Couple years back, I saw John Hiatt, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Buddy Guy back to back on the same stage. Outstanding!

I was in Memphis 3 years ago for work, but I couldn't convince my coworkers to go to the game. And I was in Memphis last year for Italianfest, but they wound up losing before Game 6 (which I was planning on going to).

I don't know what BSMF is, but I remember you guys talking about it last year around the time I came down.
