There are grizzly bears in Vancouver where our franchise originated.

Memphis kept the name, which is fine bc the grizzly bear is badass. Some franchises keep the name bc its already established brand. Just like the Lakers(nba), Rams(nfl), braves(mlb) etc.

Sure glad the Titans didn't choose the state bird for its franchise.

Pelicans worse than Wizards IMO

I'll be there, too, for added mojo. I don't think the boys have ever lost when I've been at a game, either. Gonna head out in a few. Might hit the corner bar at the Peabody before. Depends on the time. Gotta run an errand first.

I'm going to wait until 20 games in, before I start making sweeping and conclusive assessments of this team, but I will say that we look like we have regressed from last year.

Our defense has disappeared, our offense looks just as inept, just bad fundamental basketball.

I'd say it's time to start playing the starters 40+ minutes a game again but it looks like the backups are the ones actually giving the effort.

Dave is gonna have to get more hustle out of the guys. He was their bud when CLH was screaming more more more . He's gonna have to say cya the being a bud !!!! He'll get it, I'm sure. After the first game, he made some adjustments and he'll continue to tweek ( no twerkin ) and we get on track !

1. Nick calathes is the Nathan peterman of point guards. Unbelievable garbage.
2. Mike miller and Quincy have to quit turning down open threes.
3. Where is Marc gasol's offensive game outside of lowering his shoulder and bull rushing across the lane? I was promised it existed.
4. Team is complacent, over confident, and not good enough to play with an on/off switch. Embarrassing effort in the preseason and in every game to open the season.
5. Someone besides mike Conley is gonna need to score at some point.
6. Congratulations Z-Bo.
