So the guy that takes an annual 2-3 win team and got them 9 wins twice... he should pay the players he improved and got into the NFL.

This is why I can't stand Vandy fans, seriously. I'm with them in hating Franklin but Mathews and Stacy probably wouldn't be where they're at if they were still being coached by a 2 win coach rather than Franklin. But according to this dude, Franklin should give them money for improving Vanderbilt and being the reason they got drafted in the first place. Sorry, but not many coaches line up to acquire players from a team that finishes with double digits in the loss column on a yearly basis.

Never in the history of Vanderbilt University Football has there been a collection of football minds on West End ,that wasn't there to push our faces in, as heralded as the staff that will debut come August wearing a Star V. If there is ever a time to be excited about Vanderbilt Football, this is it. We may never have such a collection of coaches on West End again. It is truly ride or die time imo.

A true chameleon OC that knows what he is doing is THE #1 thing that VU has been missing on the field for some time now. Well guess what ladies and gents, we got 1.

2) Maybe Caleb Azubike if he actually applied himself?

Does anyone better acquainted with the Vandy roster have any other ideas? I could be missing somebody, but I really think the talent is just lacking.

I can't think of his name, but the openly gay player they have. He will be a sophomore next season. He was one of their highest ranked prospects ever signed. He seemed to be pretty legit last season as a freshman.

Darrius Sims was also a good player. But still, this is not very many. With the talent gap, we better beat them handily this season.

Good gets. Webb is an outstanding RB imo, great quickness, very good explosion. Scheu is one of their better players as well, definitely their best receiver as a TE.

they ran Webb into the ground too. 195lb back running right up the gut 20 times a game behind a garbage O Line. For a guy as quick as he is he didnt have very many long gainers at all. He wasnt the same at the end of the year.

Webb made a very poor decision to sign with vandy. He's a talented back that could play for any team in the SEC...he's gonna get his neck broke playing for D Mason.

yep. Its just brutal watching him try to run behind that line. Zero threat of a playmaker outside, awful OL and an awful qb that has no threat of running. Its just a disaster.

He had a run last year against us where he broke tackles against Maggitt and TK Jr to get into the end zone. I was impressed.

On Vandymania, "I would love to schedule VCU or Wichita State in football...can't get much closer to an automatic win."

VCU does not have an NCAA football team... At this point I'm not sure I'd even take Vandy over a VCU flag football intramural team this genius might be referring to.
