The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Rivals threw Vandy a bone and bumped Josh Smith. He's almost in the top 100 now and is currently their highest rated recruit of all time.

I love the fact that when they talk about building a new stadium with 25-35k seating they talk like they would actually fill it up. But the dome talk is the best. Yes because Vandy would suddenly sell 20-30k tickets to every game.

But I actually would love for them to build a dome stadium like the fargo dome. Nothing would eb better than for us to be playing them at that dome and 25-30k UT fans making it impossible for them to even function in their home dome. But i"m sure they would then make some rule where UT fans could only buy the top 2 rows. But then again it might be even funnier seeing them hyped cause they think they will finally get that intimidating home field advantage and in reality we would get to play them in front of a mostly empty dome, except for this orange ring around the top. LOL

Oh those silly vandy fans thinking that even a glorified HS dome would help them. Those couple of years really went to their heads and now they think that 9-3 made them a national power. If only they knew what being relevant actually was, then they would've known that they had no business acting the way they did and their return to SEC doormat wouldn't be so hilarious for us all.

Its sad, and hilarious, that they consider 20-30k a good turnout. and that they think they would ever fill this dome with their fans.

Have you tried clearing any cookies for that site? Pretty impressive if he's done an IP ban for just reading. I didn't know that could be done, although not much surprises me any more.

No, but thanks for bringing that to my attention. I will try clearing my cookies now. I'm not saying that's what he actually done, but that's the only thing I can come up with.

now listen a program doesn't build itself overnight, Vandy has only a football program since William McKinley so cut them some slack it may take 275 more years to get it right

Candymania is a comedy routine right now. They're celebrating for getting a football player over Fla and then trying to make themselves feel better because they only lost to Ky by 8 after losing to a horrific Miss St team this past weekend. Good stuff.

It's going to be cool over on Vandymania when they get swept by the BasketVols

What's the story behind the recruit? I find it hard to believe someone would pick them over Florida with all things being equal

vandy sucks worse than Kentucky at football. that is all (read: BUMP)

I think that's an insult to UK. They historically suck at football but at least they have a nice stadium, have 60K fill it every home game, and are putting money into the program.

Vandy couldn't get 30K to show up for Senior Day in their best 2 seasons in 100 years.

I read a post a few pages back, that I thought the poster was implying that Vandy should pay the titans to play their home games for them. My first thought was, so they go 1 and 6. What's the difference?

are the Preds doing alright? or is Nashville a sucky place for sports right now?

Vandy fans are grasping at straws and think Wharton's possible departure is a sign that UT is unraveling at the seams.

I can understand how it must be mind blowing to see that a team they oh-so-briefly recruited well against is now becoming so stocked with talent that even 4* WRs are getting buried on the depth chart.
