Even if Mason is a defensive genius, he will get shredded for as long as Vandy lets him coach simply due to the massive talent gap that is about to exist between the Commodores and even teams like Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Exactly. They are bragging about their new coordinators but what they dont admit is they still have garbage players. It's getting worse as time goes on bc the recruiting blows. They are done.

Well we have Rivals, Scout , Espn , and 247. They need a website that will hold their recruits in high regard.

Instead of stars they could give them pocket protectors.

"All of the recruiting sites have always under valued Vandy's recruits" per Mr. Yates. But I will add a little nugget to this gem, so have 99.9% of the other division one schools who didn't offer them.

Trust me, I'm signed out. He has blocked my IP address so I cant get access to the site or something. When I click on the link for their forum it says I don't have permission.

I just wish their sorry a$$es would leave the conference. Embarassing facilities, embarassing results, embarassing fans, etc. Gtfo and stfo please!

Have you tried clearing any cookies for that site? Pretty impressive if he's done an IP ban for just reading. I didn't know that could be done, although not much surprises me any more.

I don't want them to leave the conference. I want them to stay so we can beat them to a pulp until they fully embrace their role as bottom feeders.

I thought this was kind of interesting....

From the Tennessean:

His last sizable playing stint ended in a peculiar way in a 44-17 loss at Georgia on Oct. 4. Coach Derek Mason said Rivers read a play call upside-down on his wristband on a key fourth-and-2 in the third quarter. A "60" call signaled to Rivers was interpreted as "90," and it resulted in a 53-yard interception return by Georgia's Devin Bowman to seal Vanderbilt's loss.

Would not a Vanderbilt educated kid interpret an upside down "60" as "09" instead of "90"?

The SEC could trade Vandy for Wake Forest. WF would be another punching bag in football and basketball like Vandy but they would suck in baseball.

That was my first glaring issue with that quote. Also, why would you throw your QB under the bus to the media like that? Rip him up behind closed doors, but it's just bad business to tell that to the media.
