The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Didn't you know that they own the state now?

It seems more like delusions they are telling themselves to make themselves feel better because it's the only thing they can hope for.

You know, like how Vandy used to be, pray all year that they'll beat Tennessee because their season sucks.

First and foremost I couldn't be happier that Vandy is returned to their rightful place in the SEC pecking order. They never used to bother me until the past two years of their success and the way their fans took to speaking sooooo much shua! But I have to say that if you take the time to read the pages of Vandymania you will see that there may be just 1 or 2 that don't recognize that we are heading back to where we belong and that they are SOV (same old Vandy).

Karma truly is a beotch!!!

Except some pretty comprehensive studies show that the size of the spread is statistically unrelated to the probability of the team covering the spread.

I know that you study statistics, but we're talking Vandy here. They are the worst team in the SEC, over time, that ever has been.

Would y'all quit with the educational discussion/ college credibility/ student loan debt crap?

This is a thread designed to make fun of Vandy. And right now finding reasons to make fun of Vandy is fish in a barrel.

Damn right! Let's get this thread back on track. Surely vandy will lay a rotten egg tomorrow and we'll have new ammo from the mania that is vandy. Gurley gonna get real right tomorrow I suspect. Hell, he may wrap up the Heisman trophy on their D.

Lol...one of the first responses that I remember ever having to a post of mine on Volnation was "check out the big brain on Brad."

It still makes me laugh to be called a nerd because I doubt many who know me personally would find that moniker appropriate.

Or maybe they would.

Either way...it's better to be called that than "booger" or "sperm." And yes, I know people who are called both, to their faces. ha.

I wish I had studied more stats. I just have a background in data analysis and interpretation.

No disagreement from me about Vandy.

No matter what happens this season, at least we will get the catharsis of throttling Vandy in their own stadium.

I'm going to that game because I live in Nashville and a lot of my friends are UT fans - that place will be a f***ing zoo.

I'll be there too. Live within walking distance of the stadium. I really think it will be the largest orange-wearing crowd in years, especially if Vandy limps into that game 2-9.

I think Vandy may lose to Charleston Southern on Saturday.

Undefeated opponent, as FCS as it may be, probably plays much better football overall than Vandy, despite the talent gap.

Idk about that. Charleston Southern did squeak out a 16-10 win again a weak DII school called Newberry.

I think it depends on how we do. If we come into the game already out of bowl contention, then the game might draw 25K total.

I think it will get a good crowd regardless.

Vols fans are so frustrated that beating Vandy this year might be our only source of joy.

Here is a seating chart of the Vandy stadium. Those of you out there, please reach out to the #CheckerNeyland crew and request them to build the software with this seating chart to do the same in Nashville.
There are apparently 47 rows in the stadium, so divide it in 1/2 and lets' #CheckerVandy

If that could be pulled off, wow.
