How I Learned to Stop Worrying & Love our Coach
Oh, when our hero fled,
Our future seemed full of dread.
Then from Cali came a man,
He arrived with a plan!
Well run the 3-4, well have one QB.
On those two notions, we could all agree.
Finally our chance! We can make the big dance!
No one gave the doubters a secondary glance.
Look at his record! Look what hes done!
He stopped the Ducksthe pass and the run!
Such a man must surely be ready to lead,
We ran to welcome hima Jess Neely stampede.
Since that time, things seem strange.
We lost to Temple, but we must look long range!
The players respect him and he speaks so well.
This man has more power than a voltaic cell.
Trust the process! You know what I mean?
Sure, he serves us this s*** like the finest cuisine,
Yet we still love him; Hes your coach and mine.
The man has a process, thats the bottom line!
What kind of fan are you, expecting to win?
Just do what we dotake it all on the chin.
Its part of the process, oh fans, dont you see?
So what if our team bonds like hemophilia B?
Trust the process! Trust what it means,
In terms of our fan base, in terms of our team.
I was once doubtfulyes, even me.
I even once thought: SAME OLD VANDY!
Were back where we were, but hey thats okay!
Our school is the best in the SEC anyway.
Football is boring, who really cares? Not me!
All that matters is our average ACT.
Trust the process! You know what I mean?
Were in deep water, but we brought a submarine!
Trust the process! You know what I mean?
To doubt our coach now would just be obscene.
Trust the process! You know what I mean?
Soon well be winning, just like Charlie Sheen.
Just stay excited, just be positive.
One thing I knowour practice will be causative.
Through all of this process, Ive learned to be,
A card-carrying member of club SAME OLD VANDY!
But I trust our coach, and you should too!
After all, my friends, what else can you do?
