I know to most it seems like a silly and reckless way to make a transaction to college athletes.

But sometimes being overt is the best way to be "covert".

Think about it. If you were to take a NCAA wide poll about what restaurant College Football players ate at the most....what restaurant would be near the top??

I've never known ANY football player ever that didn't like "Mikee Dee's"! It's a frequent place for them.

We just didn't like Jeremy Pruitt. No one did. So it's easy to make fun of.

The McDonald’s thing was a joke, wasn’t it? I don’t think it really went down like that

The only person that even said that was Dan Patrick, who has ZERO connections to UT. The folks around UT passionately denied that the McD’s bags were even really a thing.

I have no doubt we were slipping players some money like everyone else does, but I think the McDonald’s thing is false.

Hard to prove who gave you a bag of a cash if A, they don't hand it to you themselves and B. you find it on your car's passenger seat.

If 1.5 million were paid to players, then we’re definitely in trouble. They’re not investigating just to twittle their thumbs all day long, that’s for sure. They did say that there are serious allegations that went on.
