Yeah, the Wizards got what they wanted too. They unloaded some serious cap space. If they can get out of the Arenas contract, they'll have some serious room to make a run at one of the big offseason free agents.

Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Tyson Chandler, Manu Ginobili, Richard Jefferson, Joe Johnson, Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki and Michael Redd, Lebron James...and the list goes on.

D.C. is a major metro city. Are you telling me a guy would rather play in Milwaukee, Charlotte, Toronto (though it's metro, it's still Canada lol)?

Ehh I still don't see the mavs beating L.A. The finals should be a great one especially if the cavs get Stoudemire. Kobe vs Lebron/Shaq might get more hype than LA-Boston a couple of years ago.

I think he'd fit in really good with LeBron. The Cavs style would immediately take a run and gun approach. I just wonder how much the defense will take a hit.

As a Lakers fan, I'll be worried about the combo if this trade goes down.

Yeah Gasol/Bynum/Odom are gonna have their hands full with Shaq and Amare. The pick n roll with Lebron and Amare will be almost unstoppable.

Yes they did.

They are now talented enough to hang with the Lakers in a seven game series. That equals title contenders, since the NBA champs will be coming from the Western Conference again this year unless Cleveland makes a move before Thursday.

That is your opinion. In my opinion, they aren't beating the Lakers in a 3, 5, 7, or 49 game series. To each his own.

Lakers are just too deep and too good for anyone in the west to beat them 4 times out of 7.

Never mind the Lakers, it's gonna be a stretch for them to get by the Spurs at this point.
