Yeah, he just improved the team in every category over the last few years, and he is the acting AD and head coach... More impressive then some of these other guys IMO

Sounds good to me. No one else wants to come here so hire him, prop him up on the sidelines, and give him three-four years to do something. If he can't do anything by then we'll just hire someone else (at a time of our choosing).

After looking at his teams stats and the teams they lost to, I really think he has some coaching potential. They went 4-8 only because they lost some really close games and they were in games against Boise State, LSU, and Nevada.

There are so many threads on Dooley, I don't know where to post. He's the guy. He's been recommended by Muschamp & Saban. Saban is the football God now & he thought enough of him to take him to Miami. He coached at LSU with CLT so that gives me some comfort in that he will probably keep him on staff. We're moving on so can anyone answer the question of what offense/defense did they run at La Tech?

And as far as Kyle Whittingham goes, his record hasn't been all that amazing either and he had more reasons to have had a better record. Plus, I hate the spread.

Garbage. He didn't even go to UGA until law school. His dad went to Auburn, Cutcliffe went to Alabama, etc. There is more to a man than paranoia that we'll get Kiffined again. His family hates the administration at UGA. And he isn't a clown like Kiffin. If he builds something special here he won't leave for a lateral move at best.
