The classic black & silver on the end is the best. That huge "ATL" on every one of them ruins them. IMO

I really don't get why this is so hard for some teams. They literally are trying too hard to be "cool".

Their 90s throwback is the best uniform they've ever had, and their 80's red uniforms were good too. Why is it so hard for them to realize to just make the 90s throwback the main uniform, and have an 80s red jersey for an alternate? Other teams are figuring this out. The Bills went back to a classic look. The Vikings went back to a classic look. The Jags went to a more classic look (maybe a little too plain). The Bucs figured it out. The Browns reportedly are going back to their classic look. Speculation is the Cardinals might lose their clown suits and go back to their Tillman era uniforms.

But hey Falcons, let's make your clown suits look even worse. I predict in 5 years they'll do the right thing.

Hopefully the rumors that the NFL is dropping the "one helmet" rule in 2021 will be true and we'll be able to see all the great throwbacks we used to. The Falcons' red helmet throwbacks, Patriot Pat uniforms, Bucco Bruce uniforms, the Seahawks Tasker era uniforms, Titans' Oiler throwbacks, etc.

Maybe this some kind of long con where they are just setting up the next uniform unveiling in 5 years where it's just these and a red alternate and everyone will cheer wildly.

I’m not sure if this is true anymore but the NFL had a rule that you were only allowed to change your primary home and away uniforms once every five years.

That’s a solid haul, there! On AJ Espenesa, every year teams ignore what a player does on the field and rolls with the Underwear Olympics...then live to rue passing on these types. They get the great second contracts.

Understandable but that’s a good value risk. AJ Dillon looked like a sure fire first rounder potentially top 10 early on. If Gurley stays healthy, this quality backing him up would be a strength.

You make a good point,Butchna. The Falcons have to get around to drafting a future successor to Matt Ryan since Matty Ice will be 35 this season.

I’ve read that a lot of Fans aren’t happy with the new uniforms and the ATL logo on the jerseys, but as someone who isn’t a Falcons fan, I think they are pretty nice. I have a feeling they will grow on you.
