the more likely nothing changes at QB. First it was middle of week for a decision, now after Friday's walk through. Can anyone else see a "Jon had the best week of practice since he's been here, he gets the start!" phrase from Fulmer? Decision should have been made long ago. Just my opinion, and I hope I'm wrong. Not going to the game, but would buy it if Stephens starts.

Everything I've read said they were going to see what happened during the week and make the announcement. When did he say Wednesday?

Interesting theory I heard is that they come out in the G-gun first series, then Stephens and eventually Crompton gets in.

I definitely think Crompton starts, but I hope I'm wrong. The fact he is giving him another week of practice when he knows how he practices and then sucks in the games tells me he is just buying more time for his boy. How in the world can another week of practice prove anything?

Hey Winchester,
What is the feeling, about CPF keeping his job, down there in his town?

If stephens had shown considerable progress and seperated himself from crompton at any point in the week i think we would have had an announcement. i think that they have been trying to get stephens to take the spot and he hasnt been above and beyond crompton. i expect to see crompton start and maybe have the 1st quarter to get things rollin. i am worried though that this will force clawson to call many more passes than runs to give crompton the chance to show him something. i think we try to go deep early and often in the hopes it sparks something for the 0. a couple 3 and outs or a couple throws 20 feet from being catchable and crompton comes out.

The fact that he's basing it on practice this week makes me a little nervous. Clawson has made it clear that Crompton does ok in practice, but it's not translating to the game.
