Is that some high level boosters have reached out indirectly to Butch Davis in an effort to gauge his interest. It was through some mutual friends and it was reported back that he is very interested. Supposedly went so far as to see what type of salary it will take to get him to make the move. The thought seems to be that it will take Saban money.

I kind of doubt that it will actually take that kind of money. I am sure that he told them that it would, and why not.
He makes 2.1 mil now and does not have 1/3 the endorsement opportunities that he would have here.
3 mil would probably get him.
