The last time Kentucky beat UT

Probably told this story before but I taught classes while a grad student at UK. On Fridays before game day I would wear a pair of Addias hightops that I had spray-painted orange.

I had a couple UK football players in the class and they hated those shoes. I made a deal with them. I told them if Kentucky won the game, I'd give them the shoes and they could paint them blue and I'd wear them to class.

Those shoes are still orange...

I was 4 1/2 months into my stay in my mother's womb. I could feel my father's pain as that game ended and vowed at that time that when I was born as long as I lived my Dad would never feel the pain of losing to Kentucky in football again.

The Quiz'n'Curse is still alive.

Go Vols!
