Dual metal coffer filter... very fine pore inner mesh, with a larger pore mesh as outer filter. Works great.

I was using paper or bamboo filters... and felt that a lot of the good oils were being adsorbed by the paper. Good tasting but not the best. Tried a few mesh screen filters that can larger pores, and the coffee was always a but turbid, as a lot of the fines were seeping through. I did not like this aspect.

So... after the first pot using this new dual mesh filter, I am impressed, coffee is clear (not muddy), and the flavor seems to be optimum. Worth it if you are like me... looking for a way to make a good pot. I use a Bonavita Drip coffee maker.
