The ones complaining about Tennessee running the score up on Missouri are the same ones that said Tennessee has to win convincingly in their next three games. Also, Missouri’s coach went on a National radio show before the season and joked about Tennessee possibly vacating wins due to ncaa investigation. I don’t think we put up enough for the amount of trash that guy talked, honestly. Don’t like it then stop it.
In before the merge

I don’t think there’s a big difference between 59 and 66. They’re both blowouts. We had already made the yards for the stat sheet. I would have preferred taking a knee right there considering sportsmanship AND knowing how it would be perceived/spun by the media.
Damn if you do with them damn if you don’t the national media still has an agenda with Tennesse.

They don’t want Tennessee back and it shows with a lot of national media hacks. So let’s be the bad guys and just embrace this high octane offense and stop us if ya can, I want a Miami Hurricanes of the 80’s vibe or like someone said the Spurrier 90’s fun and gun, stop us…

I didn't much like it... but I get why you do it when they are still trying to score, and it's out backups... I mean we already went deep with our backups and then to be like nah just joking.

It's great to have a team that can score. Think back a little, when we couldn't score for anything. Sit back and just enjoy and let the other teams cry.

During the game they showed last weeks stats vs our average. My son quipped that not so recently we would have been thrilled to have the stats from the Georgia game (13 points with almost 300 yards) because that would have been a great game for us. My how times have changed for the better.

All the gnashing of teeth from around the country about running up the score reminded of the great comment that Woody Hayes made after he controversially went for 2 against Michigan late in the game despite being up big. “Why’d I go for two? Because they wouldn’t let me for three.”

We're trying to get into the playoff. There will be no mercy in the final 3 games. Anyone who understands the situation knew that going into today. Missouri should feel lucky the backups were put in at all. I'm not going to feel bad that they couldn't stop them.

Most people don’t realize SEC stands for Southeastern Church League and that it’s completely disrespectful to score on coaches when up big because these coaches are volunteers who do this to help out young men.

I loved it, but not for the reason of style points. I loved it because our backups deserve to get meaningful playing time. Not only do they deserve it, they NEED it. Every rep is important and an opportunity. The more reps our backups get, the more prepared they’ll be next year.
