My Grandmother (Arkansas) always referred to the couch as a divan. Ever heard that one?
 
You know I feel so dirty when they start talkin cute I wanna tell her that I love her but the point is probably moot...

'Round my neck of the woods, hose pipe is more frequently used for larger diameters. Water hose refers to the average household's equipment (aka garden hose).
Faucet describes indoor equipment. Spigot describes outdoor equipment.
Weed eater and weed whacker are interchangeable, except in skydiving parlance - weed whacker describes certain formations, the "arms" of which are called whackers.
No matter how you pronounce it, it's spelled c-r-a-p-p-i-e.
Coke is Coca Cola. The generic term is soda pop. In degenerative slang, it's shortened to soda. Jeff Bridges fans call a beer a malt pop.
