I love Christmas, I think its what you make it. I liked it better in Tennessee, nice and cold, after the fall colors and family, but it still has meaning for me.
I ain't lettin a bunch of heathens ruin errythangses.
Things I remember most about Christmas growing up had nothing to do with presents really. I mean, part of it was going to my grandparents on both sides, to open presents.....and eat. But its not the presents that I remember as much as all the other stuff. Weather was a big part of it.
Blah blah blah, I miss it and I enjoy watching Christmas movies to take me back.
Miracle on 34th street is probably my favorite "drama". Go ahead and booo me, I like the remake with Elizabeth Perkins and Dylan McDermott better than the original. The Walton's Homecoming is a good one too. Obviously Christmas Vacation is my favorite comedy.
I had forgotten about the waltons homecoming. Lotsa snow. It's not that I dont like christmas it's more the over extended season and overlooking Thanksgiving that I find irritating. I have as many fond family memories of Thanksgiving as I do christmas
