Cracker Barrel is awesome. I go there sometimes just to get black licorice. It's good for my ulcer.

I always get breakfast there and it's kinda hard to screw that up. Their smoked sausage is just like my dad and grandad used to make. And the gravy is as good as mine.. Almost. :). I can't imagine anyone thinking they suck.

I know, I was just sayin. When I lived in Tennessee me and my brother used to go to the Franklin KY location on 31W. Was about 15 minutes from our house. We'd sit next to try fireplace and play checkers.

Anyway, good times. It's one of my favorite chain restaurants.

Cracker Barrel. Dont know bout the racist thang, I base their high sucktatude grade on the basis that their food has ZERO taste! ZERO!

I am also spoiled by HBPW's cooking. :)

We disagree on the zero taste, the hashbrown casserole is excellent and I've already mentioned the sausage. I guess I really can't say other items are tasty as I've never had anything but breakfast there. Oh, their carrot cake and blackberry cobbler are as good as any not made at home!!

Lulz, I'm not a spokesperson for them and I don't think they are anything special, they're just good and consistant.

Carrabbas and Bonefish are my top two multi-unit operations and I haven't been to either in probably a year or so. Been 3-4 since I've been to Cracker Barrel.

Wish you had my appetite right now, we would both be happy. Hopefully this will all just be a memory pretty soon. Hope your daughter and wife are doing better with all of it. It is just one daughter, right? I know it has to be an added worry for you. The whole situation just sucks, but all you can do is do it. I know you know that, I'm just rambling, not knowing what to say. Gators Suck!!!

I've got a grown daughter and a grown son. Kiddo is the baby. She's getting ready to graduate in about a month. I'm just trying to be as minimum a distraction to their day to day life as possible.

I'm just trusting God and taking life one day at a time.

So... yesterday, we're eating supper. While eating, we are watching an old episode of Miami Vice. I go back for seconds. I grab the pepper grinder and commence going to "town". I like a lot of pepper.

I take a bite; make a face. Come to find out, instead of pepper, I have ground about a table spoon of salt onto my food. I finished the cube steak, but not the veggies and rice.
