So, this morning I scale up the ridge in my continuing effort to remove several trees that pose a threat to my house. Since this is an ongoing project, I leave my saw, gas, and bar oil up there under a tarp.

This morning I pull the tarp and, low and behold, a 4 foot black snake pops out. Thank goodness it was a black snake and not one of his venomous cousins. Heart started! Lol
